IKEA (Ingvar Kamprad Elmtaryd Agunnaryd) .
IKEA was founded in 1943 by 17-year-old Ingvar Kamprad in Sweden, named as an acronym comprising the initials of the founder’s name (Ingvar Kamprad), the farm where he grew up (Elmtaryd), and his home parish (Agunnaryd, in Småland, South Sweden.
The ikea vision is to create a better everyday life for many people. It make this possible by offering a wide range of well-designed functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them.
The company is now the world’s largest furniture retailer.
